Not exactly Le Touquet but it's not a million miles away and we just couldn't leave this gem out. Hotel Clery has been described as a ‘gorgeously peaceful base’ and we can well understand why. In an otherwise touristic area of France, we think this enchanting chateau is something really quite special.
You’ll appreciate the lovely chestnut laden grounds in which the hotel is set – they are well worth walking around, but be prepared to share them with the peacocks who live here and flaunt themselves unashamedly!
In addition to beautiful, tastefully furnished guest rooms you will find the staff at the hotel just can’t do enough to make your stay a pleasant one – nothing is too much trouble for them and they seem to greet every request with a genuine smile. There is a feeling of real peace and calm here and the setting just seems light years away from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life.
