All the signs are good for a stay at this welcoming hotel – as you drive in, the hotel is well sign-posted off the main routes into the town centre, and from check-in to check-out the staff here are friendly and accommodating.

When you arrive at this hotel, tucked away in a quiet back street of Arras you’ll find it easy (and free) to park in the courtyard just outside. Guestrooms are tastefully furnished, comfortable and well equipped with full double beds and good size bathrooms with separate WC which many prefer. We think you’ll find everything about this hotel quite charming and very relaxing – it has an attractive and cool dining room where a delicious breakfast is served and if you want to dine here later, the hotel restaurant offers good food, great service and an impressive wine list.

There are plenty of other options when it comes to eating in Arras – the main square is only about a 10 minute walk away and you will find much to choose from. You can always come back to the hotel courtyard later and enjoy a quiet coffee with what we’ve heard are some quite special petit fours! Arras is a great location for visiting the Vimy ridge and other places connected with WW1 memories – there’s also the Wellington tunnels that many come to see (check for opening times) and we think that Hotel de l’Univers is a lovely place from which to explore what’s on offer here – close to the city centre, with a magnificent cathedral and highly recommended by frequent travellers to Europe.
